WRPS responds to graffiti incident at Kitchener High School

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a graffiti incident at a Kitchener high school.

On June 12, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., police received a report of graffiti at a high school in the area of ​​Fischer Hallman Road and Queens Boulevard in the City of Kitchener.

The graffiti writers threatened to commit violent acts within the school. The incident is said to have occurred the previous day.

The investigation is ongoing, but officials do not currently believe there is a safety risk. Police presence at the school will continue to be increased.
