Senator Fetterman was “to blame” for car accident

According to a report in USA Today, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman was responsible for an accident he and his wife were involved in on Sunday morning.

The news station received a report from Maryland State Police saying the junior Democratic senator was speeding in a Chevy Traverse on Interstate 70 in Maryland before 8 a.m. on June 9.

According to Maryland State Police, Fetterman was behind the wheel when the crash struck the rear of another vehicle. Both vehicles involved were traveling west at the time.

Fetterman was treated for a shoulder bruise sustained in the incident. He and his wife, Gisele, were released Sunday afternoon and were reportedly back home in Braddock on Monday.

Fetterman posted a video late Monday afternoon saying he and Gisele were doing well.

No charges were filed in this incident.
