3 arrests, 1 search for stolen vehicles in front of Jackson’s house

JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – Jackson Police have arrested three suspects and are searching for a fourth after investigators recovered several stolen vehicles.

Detective Tommie Brown said the investigation began after a vehicle was stolen from the Walmart on Highway 18 in Jackson on Tuesday, June 11.


During their investigation, officers were able to trace the vehicle to a residence on Hickory Drive.

On Wednesday, June 12, police arrested three suspects at the apartment. The fourth suspect fled the scene when officers arrived.

Brown said investigators were able to recover three stolen vehicles at the scene, including the vehicle stolen from the Walmart and a U-Haul. Police are trying to determine if there are any other stolen vehicles at the scene.

According to Brown, the three unidentified suspects are charged with auto theft.
