Harrisburg mass murder suspect arrested and charged with murder

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – The suspected gunman in a mass shooting in Harrisburg that left two people dead and several injured has been arrested.

The Harrisburg Bureau of Police on Wednesday charged Kameron Hymes with murder, carrying a firearm without a permit, prohibited possession of a weapon and four counts of recklessly endangering another person, police said.

The fatal shooting occurred on May 21 around 8:30 p.m. on South 15th Street. Police believe there were multiple shooters and several different shell casings were found at the scene.

Two men, Dominic Jackson, 27, and Zauhnteen Jackson, 21, both of Harrisburg, died from their injuries in the shooting. Five other people were injured in the shooting, police said.
