Leonard Nimoy never forgave Gene Roddenberry after a Star Trek incident ‘really damaged’ their relationship

Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek is considered an innovative trend in television series that revolutionized the space adventure genre in the 1960s. In the series, Leonard Nimoy played Mr. Spock, one of the most iconic characters who would forever be associated with his name.

Nimoy left his mark on the entire Star Trek franchise, and the thought of someone else taking on the role of Mr. Spock just feels wrong. While things looked peaceful on TV, behind the scenes on the original series things were heated between Nimoy and the series’ creator, Roddenberry.

Things often escalated to the point where the two often found themselves at odds on set. As a result, their relationship became so strained that things became difficult between them and it escalated to the point where their relationship broke down forever.
