Quincy man arrested for possession of sexually explicit images of children

A 22-year-old Quincy man is in prison for possessing sexually explicit images of children.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office arrested Isaac Gutierrez at his home in the 500 block of Southeast “C” Street on Tuesday. The arrest came after an investigation that began when detectives received a tip that someone in Grant County was uploading images of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct. After a six-month investigation and multiple search warrants, detectives determined the suspect was Gutierrez based on where the images were uploaded and viewed. Tuesday morning, detectives arrested Gutierrez at his home. He was booked into the Grant County Jail to be booked on three counts of possession of images of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. This is an ongoing investigation.
