Air quality warning for Wednesday

An air quality warning goes into effect for the El Paso area at 9:00 a.m. and will remain in effect until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.

In the afternoon, atmospheric conditions favor increased ozone pollution.

If you are a sensitive person, be sure to check the air quality before going outside, especially during the heat of the day. Young children and the elderly should avoid going outside and doing strenuous activities.

You can reduce ozone pollution by walking or cycling instead of driving.
