Wheeling man arrested in Oswego sexual abuse investigation

A Wheeling man is charged with aggravated sexual abuse. Oswego police say 29-year-old Roberto B. Huerta was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Wheeling last week.

Police allege Huerta had sexual contact with a girl younger than seventeen but older than thirteen in September and December 2022. Police began an investigation in February of last year when the incident was reported to them.

Huerta allegedly met the victim while posing as a 19-year-old on a mobile app. He was taken to the Cook County Jail for a pretrial hearing.
