How does the hotline work?

When you call, you will be asked for information. You do not have to give your name, address or telephone number. All information will be treated confidentially and will remain within the criminal investigation department.

What happens to the information I provide?

Information is cross-referenced so investigators can determine if other information related to the criminal activity you are calling about has been reported in the past. Even “small” nuggets of information can sometimes provide investigators with the “missing link” that allows them to take action.
