Tornado, additional severe storms are possible on Wednesday

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – The Tri-State could see more severe weather on Wednesday, making this another FOX19 NOW First Alert Weather Day.

Wednesday will be humid with a high of 82 degrees.

We’ll stay dry until about late afternoon or early evening.

Then we are threatened with another round of possible severe storms on Wednesday between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.

According to the FOX19 NOW weather team, this could result in heavy rain that could cause flooding, damaging winds, hail and a tornado.

Flood warnings have been extended until 10 a.m. for most of the Tri-State, with amounts of between 2 and 7 inches of rain reported so far.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Cincinnati’s northern suburbs saw the most weather events so far, with 2 to 3 inches.

The unsettled weather will continue from Thursday into the weekend, with the possibility of rain Thursday morning into early afternoon.

Temperatures will cool down by the weekend.

Highs will be in the upper 60s on both Friday and Saturday. Morning lows will fall into the low 50s.

Mother’s Day on Sunday looks good with a mix of sun and clouds.

The maximum temperature should reach 70 degrees.
