Prince William reveals childhood incident amid reports of Harry’s new memoir

Prince William, who made a special trip to Cardiff on Tuesday, spoke about the childhood incident that left an unforgettable scar on his forehead.

The Prince of Wales, who deeply regretted the absence of his beloved wife Kate on his last outing, was reminded of his distinctive scar in Wales.

William made the revelation about his scar at a time when the Duke was making headlines with his possible second book about his time with the royal family.

The 41-year-old future king explored the many uses of seaweed, ranging from food to alternative resources. He acknowledged the “progress already made in Wales and heard about further innovations in the seaweed sector that could help the Welsh seaweed industry reach its full potential.”

Speaking to Notpla’s Pierre Paslier, William recalled a childhood golfing accident that left him with a scar on his forehead when he was shown the company’s seaweed golf tee.

“He looked at the prototype and I asked him if he liked golf. He had a famous injury as a child, pointed to his head and said, ‘No golf for me.’ No golf for him!” Paslier said. PEOPLE.

Prince William previously referred to the injury as his “Harry Potter scar,” according to BBC news programme.

“I call it that because sometimes it glows and some people notice it – sometimes they don’t notice it at all,” he said.

“I was hit by a golf club while playing golf with a friend. We were on the putting green and suddenly there was a 7-iron – it came out of nowhere and hit me in the head.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media accounts also shared the clip of William’s visit with details.

Paslier said William “saw the potential and how big the industry can be. He really wants to drive the industry forward here in Wales and elsewhere.”
