Victim dies after assault outside Oshkosh treatment center | WTAQ News Talk | 97.5 FM · 1360 AM

OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The victim of a “serious assault incident” outside the Wisconsin Resource Center in Oshkosh has succumbed to his injuries.

According to police, a 41-year-old suspect is being charged with first-degree intentional murder.

On May 21, officers were called to a state prison inmate treatment center on North Drive for a reported assault incident in the facility’s yard.

The 56-year-old victim was taken to a hospital and later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the incident.

None of the people involved were WRC employees, officials said.
