Isaac N. Gutierrez was arrested Tuesday at his home in the 500 block of C Street Southeast after a six-month investigation.

Investigators said they used multiple search warrants to identify Gutierrez and determine the location from which the sexually explicit images of children were downloaded.

Grant County officials said they received a tip that someone had uploaded images of children engaged in sexually explicit acts.

Local, state and federal agencies were involved in the investigation.

A team of detectives from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET), Washington State Patrol, Homeland Security Investigators and Quincy Police Department collected evidence at the scene.

In addition, Seattle Police sent their electronics detection dog to search the home for digital devices, and SPD investigators then forensically examined those devices.

On Tuesday morning, a search warrant was issued for Gutierrez’s home and he was taken into custody.

Investigators say the investigation is ongoing.

Gutierrez is currently in the Grant County Jail on three counts of possession of images of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
