Goose Creek man charged after investigation into child sexual abuse images

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) – The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office says a Goose Creek man has been charged with possession of sexually explicit images of children.

Judge Miller Janssen, 33, is accused of three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Investigators with the Goose Creek Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force made the arrest after receiving a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That tip led them to Janssen, whom they arrested on May 29, they said.

According to investigators, Janssen possessed files containing material about child sexual abuse.

Each count is a felony punishable by up to ten years in prison.

No booking photo of Janssen was available on the Berkeley County Jail website.
