Police arrest GA inmate who escaped from prison work assignment – ​​WSB-TV Channel 2

SPALDING COUNTY, Georgia – Officials in Spalding County have arrested an inmate who escaped from a prison squad.

McDonough Police received a call Monday morning about escaped inmate Brandon Jordan.

A few minutes later, dispatch gave a description of Jordan and said a witness saw him get into a black Cadillac and drive north on Highway 19 toward Henry County.

A witness gave officers the license plate number of the Cadillac.

The license plate number was verified using FLOCK cameras and the Cadillac was spotted near Highway 20 West.

A McDonough police officer was able to catch up with the Cadillac and conducted a traffic stop for a felony.

Additional officers arrived and assisted in the arrest of Jordan without incident.
