Huntingdon Valley Fire Department releases details and photos of afternoon accident on Byberry Road

The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company has released details and photos of this afternoon’s accident that has temporarily closed the perimeter of Huntingdon Pike and Byberry Road in Huntingdon Valley.

According to their post, rescue workers found a van and a small SUV lying on their sides.

The company said rescue crews saved the driver by cutting out the sunroof. The driver was treated and taken to a nearby hospital by Medic 355.

The units on site included Squad 8, Fire Brigade 8, Squad 11 and Fire Brigades 8 and 11, the company said.
