Investigation into the death of a woman in Franklin County is ongoing

ALTUS, Arkansas – The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division has now launched an investigation into the death of a woman in Arkansas.

Altus police reportedly asked Arkansas State Police for assistance in the investigation after finding a woman dead in a home.

When police arrived on the scene, they found 35-year-old Christina Steffen unconscious in her home. The Franklin County Coroner later confirmed that she was dead.

The body was subsequently sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the manner and cause of death.
