ABC-7 First Alert extended: Dangerous heat forecast through Sunday

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – ABC-7 is extending its initial advisory due to rising temperatures, warning of dangerous heat levels Wednesday through Sunday that could reach between 40 and 42 degrees Celsius.

Today, both El Paso and Las Cruces are bracing for triple-digit highs.

Be prepared for several days of scorching heat, with no relief in sight.

While showers or thunderstorms are possible in the Sacramento Mountains in the afternoon, it will remain dry elsewhere.
