The Greater Manchester Police have now released CCTV footage of the incident. On Monday (September 11), police submitted a plea detailing the incident.

The attack happened around 2pm on Sunday afternoon (September 10) when two masked men arrived on a motorbike.

Due to previous attacks, the Manchester store’s windows were protected with iron bars. There are also security facilities outside the premises.

The attacker attempted to break the store’s windows and threw an object at the doors and security equipment.

In addition, the attackers caused around £3,500 worth of damage.

Chief Inspector Steve Wiggins, from Greater Manchester Police’s City Center Neighborhood Team, shared a statement appealing to the general public for information.

“So far we have arrested one person, but we know there is someone out there who knows where this bike is and who it belongs to,” Chief Wiggins said.

Wiggins also added, “We urge them to reach out to us.

“We are releasing (CCTV) in the hope that someone witnessed this attack and can come forward with information.”

“The attacks are very specific … and target a specific business.”

Wiggins continued that this shop has been repeatedly targeted. “The attacks are very specific and target a specific business.

“This is the fifth attack on this company in the last four months and it cannot continue.”

Crimestoppers is offering a £2,000 reward for information. Crimestoppers can be reached on 0800 555 111 and tips can be passed on anonymously.
