Autodesk says it has provided the SEC with documents related to the internal investigation

In a regulatory 10-Q filing, the company states: “In early March 2024, the Audit Committee of Autodesk’s Board of Directors, with the assistance of outside legal counsel and advisors, initiated an internal investigation regarding the Company’s practices with respect to free cash flow and non-GAAP operating margin. On March 8, 2024, the Company voluntarily contacted the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to notify them of the internal investigation. On April 3, 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California contacted the Company regarding the internal investigation. The Company voluntarily provided the SEC and the USAO with certain documents related to the internal investigation and will continue to cooperate with the SEC and the USAO. At this time, the Company cannot reasonably estimate the amount of any potential financial loss that could arise from this matter.”
