Man from Barnett, Missouri, dies after ATV accident

LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri – A Barnett, Missouri man has died following an ATV accident in Laclede County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the accident occurred around 1 a.m. on June 11 on Ottawa Drive, one mile south of Highway J.

66-year-old Mark Wand died at the scene of the accident after crossing the middle of the road and overcorrecting, causing his Kubota ATV to overturn.

This is the fifth Troop I death in June and the 18th in 2024.
