SHERIFF INCIDENT REPORT | State News

According to reports from the Dent County Sheriff’s Office:

• Officers responded to a burglary report on May 31 in the 4500 block of County Road 2050. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that items were stolen from the home. Information on the suspect has been gathered and the investigation is ongoing.

• Officers responded to the 100 block of County Road 5120 for a report of a wanted person on June 1. During the investigation, a 20-year-old Salem woman was arrested and transported to the Dent County Jail. Additional charges of possession of a controlled substance are pending.

• Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of South Main Street on June 7. During the stop, the driver, a 28-year-old Viburnum man, was arrested for driving while suspended. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Dent County Jail.
