Murder case in Shelby under investigation

SHELBY, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide. They say officers received a 911 call today (10/6/24) from someone living on Redwood Court in the city of Shelby. When officers arrived, they found a woman dead inside the home. A suspect was arrested and taken to the La Crosse County Jail on suspicion of 1^st First degree intentional murder. Authorities are still investigating.

The sheriff says the names of those involved are not being released at this time. We will continue to update you as we learn more.
