Sibley man arrested for knife throwing | News

SIBLEY – A 42-year-old Sibley man was arrested around 2 a.m. Sunday, June 9, on charges of assault with use of a dangerous weapon and third-degree criminal damage to property.

Rosember Abarca’s arrest came after he threw a knife at another Sibley man during an altercation and smashed the rear window of a Sibley woman’s car in the 400 block of Seventh Street in Sibley, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

A ban on contact was imposed between Abarca and the two persons.

Third-degree criminal damage charges involve incidents where the value of replacing, restoring, and/or repairing damaged property is estimated at between $751 and $1,499.
