Man dies in farming accident in Shelby County – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

SHELBY COUNTY – A man is dead Sunday following a reported farm accident south of Botkins.

According to Botkins Police Chief Mark Jordan, police and emergency personnel were called to the 15800 block of County Road 25A for a report of a farm accident in a field.

Craig Barhorst, 38, was involved in an accident while baling hay in a field.

Barhosrt died from his injuries, Jordan confirmed.

The incident remains under investigation.
