Michael Rainey Jr. is alleged to have been sexually abused by Tylil James’ sister

“Sexual assault is never okay, regardless of gender or status,” the actor said on Instagram.

Michael Rainey Jr. is “still in shock” after streamer Tylil James’ sister allegedly sexually harassed him during a livestream.

“By now everyone has seen the video circulating on the internet,” the “Power Book II: Ghost” actor wrote on Instagram via Stories on Monday.

“I am still in shock and don’t know how to process what happened last night. This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way.”

Rainey is not willing to “take the incident lightly” because he “would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed.”

He continued: “The fact is that sexual assault is never okay, regardless of gender or status. We are all human and should respect each other.”

“The most important thing is that we always respect ourselves.”

Rainey’s statement comes shortly after a video surfaced online showing an alleged incident in which he was groped by James’ sister.

The video shows James, a podcaster known as the founder and host of the independent Twitch channel “The Tylil Show,” along with Rainey and a small group of individuals starting a livestream in a confined space.

Shortly after the livestream begins, James’ sister Jahgee is observed behaving inappropriately towards the “amateur” actor, who seems visibly surprised by the incident.
