After a cold day, it will stay cool all night. Many north of Syracuse, the North Country and the Adirondacks will fall into the 40s, while those in the city will remain in the lower 50s.

Temperatures will remain cooler than average on Tuesday, with highs in the 60s. A shower or two in places in the afternoon cannot be ruled out. By Tuesday evening, our skies will slowly begin to clear.

Wednesday will be dry and finally back into the 70s. It will be even warmer, but will turn humid on Thursday.

1. Suspect convicted in Brexialee Torres-Ortiz shooting death

One of three men linked to the shooting death of 11-year-old Brexialee Torres-Ortiz was found guilty Monday, Onondaga County Prosecutor William Fitzpatrick said.
