“A family came here and they didn’t have an appointment since we were on an appointment basis, but I made them anyway because they were telling me a story that their unborn child was sick,” says -She. “When I heard that, it broke my heart. I want to get everything you need. We can help you.”

“We have a lot of newborns being born in Western New York and we are in great need of clothing for older children as well,” Murphy says. “Clothes for boys and girls from 7 to 14, but we will take all sizes.”

The organization also provides basic necessities to refugees.

“We get a lot of immigrants here and we help by providing them with food,” Carmona explains. “We help and love serving people.”

Murphy says in addition to donating clothing, they are also looking for book donations.

“Educational toys and books are very important for children living in poverty. They don’t have access to it,” she says. “So we hope they can keep up when they enter preschool.”
