MPD: Shooting at Riverside in Memphis leaves dead

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – One person was injured after a shooting in the Riverside neighborhood Monday night.

The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting June 10, 2024, around 7:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Silverage Avenue, where officers found a dead person at the scene, police said.

Police have not released any information about a suspect.

At 7:31 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Silverage Avenue. One person was found at the scene and pronounced deceased. No information is available at this time regarding the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
