Mobile police search for suspect in Sunday robbery

MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) – According to Mobile police, a person was robbed at a local grocery store Sunday afternoon.

According to a press release from the MPD, officers were called to Brother’s Food Mart around 2:15 p.m. for a report of a robbery.

When officers arrived at the store, they found that the victim had been assaulted and robbed in the parking lot, the press release said.

The suspect left the area on foot. Police say they are conducting an intensive investigation.
