One person injured in three-vehicle crash outside Lowe’s | Local news

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday afternoon just before 5 p.m. at the entrance to the Walmart and Lowe’s home improvement stores on Highway 190 West here in Jasper.

What happened is unclear, but it appears the crash occurred as a pickup truck was leaving the shops, and Jasper police, who investigated the incident, had not yet issued a final report at last information. However, an unidentified driver, driving a Buick sedan, was taken by ambulance to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.

The accident occurred at 5:00 p.m. in traffic as many people were on their way home and the westbound lane of the highway was temporarily closed until the vehicles and wreckage could be cleared from the highway.
