1-year-old injured in lawnmower accident

WOLCOTT, CT (WFSB) – Police say a 1-year-old boy was injured in a lawnmower accident in Wolcott Monday night.

Wolcott Police Chief Ed Stephens said the boy’s sister was pushing an electric lawn mower when the boy slipped and three of his toes were severed by the mower.

The boy was taken to hospital, police said. The severity of his injuries is unknown.
