Viral driver’s license revocation

Gets a learner’s permit…

Could help his court case

The Michigan man who was legally banned from driving has another update to share: He just took an important step toward getting his driver’s license… and it was documented on video.

As you know, Corey Harris left a judge completely stunned when he appeared in his virtual court hearing behind the wheel of a car …even though he was charged with driving without a license.

The drama culminated in Harris being asked to turn himself in last month – which got even crazier when the judge found that he never had a driving licensefirst and foremost. Now things are looking up again because he has been given the green light, so to speak, to get behind the wheel.

In a new video, Harris has now shown that he has taken steps to legally obtain a driver’s license – on Friday he grabbed his learner’s permit.

Check it out…his lawyer posted this footage of Harris doing a little dance after stopping by the Michigan Secretary of State’s office after successfully passing his exam.

Prior to his lawsuit, Harris allegedly assumed he had a driver’s license because his right to obtain a license had been revoked in 2007 due to unpaid child support payments.

Unfortunately, he learned the hard way that wasn’t the case. Still, Harris will be able to take his driving test on July 7… a month before his next court hearing. His attorney says that if CH has a license by then, the misdemeanor charge could be downgraded to a misdemeanor.

We hope Harris is good at parallel parking, as that is the hardest part of the test. Good luck!
