2 dead in apparent murder-suicide; Logan County Sheriff’s Office investigating

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that officials are investigating after two people were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide case.

Police confirmed that two bodies were found in front of a residential building on Monday morning.

According to police, a husband shot at his wife’s car as she was picking up a colleague, killing her and then turned the gun on himself.

The shooting took place in the house of the woman’s co-worker.

The sheriff said there was a history of domestic violence between the couple, but they were married and lived close together.

According to police, the colleague was sitting in the passenger seat at the time of the shooting and was able to get out and run away.

She was taken to the hospital for evaluation; the sheriff said she had no injuries.

The identities of the people or further details about the circumstances of the shooting have not been released.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations was called to the scene to assist with the investigation.
