Real estate heirs Oren and Alon Alexander accused of rape in NYC lawsuits

According to explosive lawsuits in Manhattan, real estate heir twins Oren and Alon Alexander are said to have sexually abused two women – one of whom was raped alternately in a castle in the Hamptons.

The brothers, both multimillionaires, allegedly had a seething hatred of women and committed “heinous” acts that were “extreme and outrageous to such an extent that the act was cruel and intolerable in a civilized society,” the lawsuit says.

Oren, a prominent figure in the Side-backed brokerage firm Official, and Alon, an executive at a private security firm, are accused in court documents of brutally raping a woman at the notorious party palace “Sir Ivan’s Castle” in Water Mill, Louisiana, in 2012.

“On many occasions, Alon sometimes posed as his twin brother Oren, attempted to help his brother, and called or texted the plaintiff in Oren’s name” when she was unwilling to go out with him, the filing states.

According to court documents, the twins attacked the other woman in 2010 when she was just 18 years old. They drugged her at a popular Meatpacking District hangout and then took her home to abuse her.

A lawyer for the influential entrepreneurs immediately denied the allegations to the Washington Post on Monday and said it was merely an attempted extortion of millions of dollars.

The two civil lawsuits were filed in March after New York extended the deadline for alleged victims to sue for past sexual assaults.

They paint a chilling alleged picture of Alon and Oren, the latter of whom runs the successful Alexander Team with a third sibling. The firm has handled over $7 billion in real estate deals in New York, South Florida and beyond since Oren left his longtime firm Douglas Elliman to start the company in 2022.

The lawsuits accuse the twins of cruel acts of violence. For example, they took turns raping the plaintiffs, leaving the victims with lasting trauma.

In both cases, the plaintiffs claim in the filings that the twins were driven by their “hostility toward women.”

“The defendants committed crimes of violence against the plaintiff because she is a woman and, at least in part, because they harbored hostility toward women,” the lawsuit states.

“The defendants’ gender hostility towards women is demonstrated, among other things, by their degrading and degrading sexual assaults and repeated rape of the plaintiff.”

The Alexanders’ attorney, Jim Ferraro of the Ferraro Law Firm, vehemently denied the allegations.

“This lawsuit became public after (the Alexanders) decided not to settle a tens of millions of dollars claim,” Ferarro said in a statement to the Post. “We are confident that this matter will be resolved in (their) favor because we have an extensive collection of hard evidence, including phone records, text messages, emails and other documents, the contents of which clearly refute these claims.”

The New York Adult Survivors Act – which took effect on November 24, 2022, and was set to end on November 24, 2023 – allowed alleged survivors of sexual assault to seek justice regardless of when the assault occurred. The deadline to file lawsuits was then extended to March 2025, allowing the lawsuits against the Alexanders to proceed.

The files show that the women did not file a report with the police at the time of the alleged attacks.

The women’s lawyers, New York-based firm Torgan Cooper & Aaron, did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.

In her complaint, Rebecca Mandel describes her alleged nightmarish encounter with the twins.

The then 18-year-old says in her lawsuit that she met Oren and Alon in 2009 at the now-closed Meatpacking District Club SL and that in 2010 Alon mixed crumbs into her drink. The brothers later raped her in her apartment after luring her there under false pretenses, her lawsuit says.

The twins assured her they were “just hanging out,” their complaint states.

“As the defendants and plaintiff entered the building and approached the apartment door, plaintiff sensed something was wrong,” the lawsuit states. “The hallway was silent. There was no music, no voices, nothing to indicate that a party was taking place at that location.”

“At that moment, the plaintiff realized that she had been deceived. She had been taken to the defendant’s apartment.”

Inside, the twins held her down and raped her, Mandel claims in her lawsuit.

“Shortly after entering the apartment, (Mandel) was sexually assaulted, assaulted, restrained, groped, harassed, beaten, and groped by the defendants,” the lawsuit states. “Alon held the plaintiff down while Oren vaginally penetrated her. The defendants then switched positions and repeatedly raped (Mandel).”

Kate Whiteman claims she was attacked by the Alexander brothers in Sir Ivan’s Castle in 2012. Jerritt Clark

In another lawsuit filed the same day in March, Kate Whiteman alleges a robbery occurred in 2012 at Sir Ivan’s Castle in the Hamptons. The house is owned by musician Ivan Wilzig, who is also accused of negligence. Wilzig did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.

Whiteman’s lawsuit states that she was allegedly dragged by Alon into a black SUV where Oren was waiting. She was then taken to the castle and attacked by the brothers despite her attempts to escape.

According to the lawsuit, Whiteman met Oren in New York in 2008 and repeatedly turned down his offers to go out with him. His twin sister then posed as Oren and tried to persuade her.

At the Hamptons castle, Whiteman alleged in her lawsuit, the brothers dragged her through the house’s garage into a master bedroom, where she was “sexually assaulted, abused, raped, held down, groped, harassed, beaten and groped” by defendants Alon and Oren.

“As the plaintiff and the twins were standing behind the garage door, the door closed and immediately locked behind them. The plaintiff was then told that she had to put on a sarong,” the filing states. “The plaintiff then ran up the stairs to the house fully clothed. As the plaintiff ran up the stairs, a (worker) grabbed her by the arm and dragged her back into the garage.”

The complaint states that the worker was Werzig’s employee.

“Plaintiff was eventually forced to undress and put on a sarong. Her phone and other belongings were placed in a locker, which Oren immediately locked and placed the key around his wrist. The twins then led plaintiff upstairs to what appeared to be a large bedroom” and assaulted her, the lawsuit states.

Ferraro told The Real Deal, the website that first reported on the lawsuits, that the case was “completely fabricated” and predicted it would collapse after Whitman’s testimony.

Ferraro also called Mandel’s lawsuit “very bizarre” and expressed his long-standing trust in the Alexanders, having used Oren as his real estate agent for years.

Wilzig’s lawyers have requested that Whiteman’s case against him be moved to Suffolk County, where he resides.

The Alexander twins, who now live in Miami Beach, come from a real estate dynasty run by their father, Shlomy Alexander. Their brother Tal, another top realtor, is unaffected by these allegations and is focused on their projects such as the Rosewood condo at the Raleigh in Miami Beach and the Dolce & Gabbana condo in Brickell.

The twins have until August 19 to respond to the lawsuit.
