Late storms in Georgia, more rain in the forecast – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Alert Weather meteorologist Trevor Gibbs predicts temperatures Monday afternoon will be hot — between 95 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

The storms currently north of our area will slowly move into parts of southeast Georgia by sunset and beyond. Some could be strong/severe.

Northeast Florida will see little to no rain tonight.

Tuesday will be another hot day with some afternoon showers and thunderstorms across Northeast Florida. However, rain will not be everywhere.

Wednesday through Friday will see more areas getting some beneficial rain, but not much. The best rain and thunderstorm coverage looks to be on Thursday.

Significant amounts of rain are expected for South Florida, with over 10 inches expected in many places this week.
