4 people arrested after blind man beaten and robbed

A blind man was severely beaten and the victim of a carjacking in Louisville, according to police. Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident. According to police reports, the victim, who police say is totally blind, had an acquaintance drive him from Louisville to Radcliff in his truck on Saturday afternoon, June 8. He said the two met up with three other people, a woman and two men, and one of those men started driving the truck. The victim told police that at some point one of them dropped his phone and the truck stopped. He was then dragged from the truck, punched, kicked and robbed of his wallet and phone. Louisville Metro Police said the suspects left him on the side of the road in the area of ​​40th and Hale Avenue, which is in the Chickasaw neighborhood near Greenwood Cemetery. Police said they later found the truck parked in front of a Budgetel hotel on Bardstown Road. They then arrested the following four people: Louis Jones, Misty Slater-Miller, Dashawn Cleaver and Stephon Cleaver. All are charged with first-degree robbery. Police said the victim will be OK.

Police said the victim was fine.
