One person dies in crash at Loop 410 and Highway 281, officials say

SAN ANTONIO – One person was killed in an accident in northeast San Antonio Monday afternoon, officials said.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Monday at the Loop 410 eastbound exit to Highway 281.

The San Antonio Fire Department said one person died in the accident, but no other injuries were reported. The San Antonio Fire Department did not provide any information about what caused the accident.

Some lanes of the motorway were closed while the accident was being cleared. Drivers are asked to choose alternative routes.
