UPDATE: Investigation into double murder in Milford underway, suspect arrested

UPDATE from June 10th: Police have identified the two victims of this murder as 31-year-old Mercedes Ortiz and 3-year-old Aloni Truong.

UPDATE 6.6.: Police have arrested a suspect in connection with this double murder.

Davis Truong, 31, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.

He is currently being held on $2.2 million cash bail.

06/05, 4:20 p.m. UPDATE: Milford Police are investigating a double homicide that occurred early Wednesday morning in Milford.

At approximately 4:45 a.m., police were called to the 500 block of S. DuPont Boulevard for a report of a 31-year-old man bleeding from the head. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and treated the man, who was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Further investigation led police to a residence in the 6000 block of Peeblebrook Drive in the Brookstone Trace neighborhood, where officers found a 31-year-old female and a 3-year-old female, both dead.

This incident remains under investigation. Police say they have arrested a suspect and there is currently no danger to the public.
