Man arrested on suspicion of touching woman in Killingly Park – NBC Connecticut

State police have arrested a man accused of inappropriately touching a woman in a Killingly park.

She told police that she was walking in Owen Bell Park on Town Farm Road in Killingly on Friday afternoon when a man touched her in a sexual manner.

He ran away, but the woman took a photo of him and state police said it confirmed her account of the incident.

A tracking dog was able to locate the man and a suspect, a 36-year-old man from Dayville, was arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peace, fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree false imprisonment.

He was held on $25,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on Monday.
