Woman dead after accident in West Phoenix: PD

PHOENIX – According to Phoenix police, a woman died after an accident that occurred on the night of June 10.

According to a statement, officers responded to a 911 call about an accident in the area of ​​55th Avenue and Campbell around 1:45 a.m.

“When officers arrived, they located the adult female in the only vehicle involved,” the statement said. “The female was transported to a nearby hospital where she was unfortunately pronounced deceased.”

According to investigators, the woman apparently drove into a car that was properly parked on the side of the road.
