2 injured in shooting in Norman, police investigating

Norman police say they are investigating a shooting that left at least two people injured early Monday morning.

The NPD said it responded to a report of shots fired in the 3000 block of Oak Tree Avenue at approximately 3:58 a.m.

They said that while dispatchers were arriving at the scene, they received calls from people claiming to be victims of the shooting.

Two people were transported for injuries sustained in the shooting and are in stable condition, according to NPD. A third person declined medical treatment at the scene.

Investigators believe all persons involved in the incident are in custody and the incident remains under investigation.
