First look at the “Knives Out” sequel “Wake Up Dead Man”

Filming for the next all-star project is underway Knife out Rate, Wake up, dead man.

Director Rian Johnson tweeted a photo of lead actor Daniel Craig on set with the caption: “Aaaand here we go! Today is the first day of shooting for the next Benoit Blanc crime thriller ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ – see you on the other side.”

Writer-director Johnson’s star-studded third sequel features Daniel Craig returning as Southern detective Benoit Blanc, alongside an all-star cast including Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, Daryl McCormack and Josh Brolin.

A contemporary revival of the crime genre, the Knife out The franchise revolves around the investigations of Craig’s character Blanc. The series kicked off with Johnson’s 2019 crime thriller of the same name, starring Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer and others, which grossed over $310 million worldwide. Following the popularity of the first film, which received an Oscar nomination for its screenplay, Netflix acquired the rights to produce two sequels for $450 million – the first of which Glass Onion: A Knives Out Crime Thrillerwas released in 2022.

Johnson directs Wake up, dead man based on his own screenplay and also produced for T-Street together with his partner Ram Bergman.
