Four people arrested in drug raid following traffic stop in Glynn County, police report – 104.5 WOKV

GLYNN COUNTY, Georgia – Four people are in custody following a traffic stop Saturday on Touchstone Parkway near Butterbean Court.

The incident began when Jonathan Donahue, a police officer with the Glynn County Police Department, stopped a car for a traffic violation. Shortly thereafter, police dog Dustin Shipskie arrived with his dog Ghost and alerted officers to narcotics in the vehicle.

During a subsequent search of the vehicle, approximately 14 grams of methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia were found.

The four occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charged with various offenses:

  • Gerald Smith: Possession of drug-related items
  • Jacqueline Altman: Possession of Schedule II Substances
  • Lauren Hinson: Possession of Schedule II substances with intent to distribute and possession of drug-related items
  • Mark Lusty: Possession of Schedule II substances with intent to resell, possession of drug-related items and failure to obey a stop sign
