Police investigate shooting in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT) – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1400 block of Halifax Street.

There is no information yet on how many people were injured, but there were victims who were taken to hospital for medical treatment.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
