Florida woman arrested for robbery at ice cream parlor in Platteville

A Florida woman was arrested for allegedly robbing an ice cream parlor in Platteville.

According to Platteville police, 45-year-old Bereta Alesandru of Spring Hill, Florida, robbed Three Marias Ice Cream Shop at knifepoint on Thursday afternoon.

After the incident, Platteville officers stopped a black Ford with a Florida license plate on Highway 151. A woman matching the robber’s description was found inside the vehicle.

WISC reports that Alesandru was arrested for robbery with threat of violence.
