Fargo man arrested after short chase near Casselton | The Mighty 790 KFGO

CASSELTON, N.D. (KFGO) — A Fargo man was arrested Sunday after leading state troopers and Cass County Sheriff’s officers on a short chase, according to officials.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit occurred after officers received a report of a man who was possibly under the influence of drugs and having a mental health crisis.

When officers attempted to make contact with 32-year-old Jordon Wichman, he said he attempted to ram an officer’s vehicle with the officer inside, drove off and became stuck in a ditch off I-94 near County Road 9.

Wichman was arrested by police officers who took him to a hospital for a medical evaluation before being booked into the Cass County Jail. He is charged with fleeing, reckless endangerment, evading apprehension and driving under the influence.
