OSBI assists Minnesota police in murder investigation

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KFOR) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting Bloomington Police in the investigation of a homicide.

According to Bloomington police, April Pease disappeared in Minnesota in March 2009. Based on information found during the investigation, Cedric Marks and Kellee Sorensen were charged with Pease’s murder.


Officials say Marks has ties to Clearview, Oklahoma, and police strongly believe Pease’s remains may be in that area. Authorities are asking the public for any information that will help them recover her remains so she can be properly buried.
