Russian attacks injure woman in Kharkiv region

UKRAINE, KHARKIV REGION, June 10 — During the night, Russian troops attacked the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in Kharkiv region, wounding one resident, Kharkiv Region Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported.

Cities and villages in Kharkiv Oblast, especially border settlements, have been subjected to massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region toward Vovchansk and Lyptsi on May 10.

Syniehubov said Russian shelling of the village of Cherkaski Tyshky in Tsyrkuny municipality resulted in a private house catching fire.

In Chuhuiv district, the Russian army dropped a guided bomb (KAB) on the territory of a private enterprise in the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz, damaging the elevator. They also shelled a private enterprise in Zolochiv, setting a car on fire.

In addition, the Russians dropped a modified glide bomb (UMPB D-30) on the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, damaging four private houses.

The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reports that the Russians attacked the city 76 times in May alone, almost three times more than in April. The Russians dropped glide bombs on the city 37 times. They also fired rockets, carried out twelve attacks with Shahed UAVs and three with Lancet drones.
