Investigation into shooting at Memphis airport underway | News

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – An investigation was underway into a shooting in the cell phone parking lot at Memphis International Airport early Monday morning.

Memphis Police Department (MPD) told FOX13 that officers responded to a shooting in the parking lot just inside the airport grounds. The 911 call came in just after midnight Monday.

MPD said the airport was responsible for the investigation because the incident occurred on airport property.
